Qube Cold Storage Solutions
6” Insulated Cold Room Panels
6” Insulated Cold Room Panels
Qube’s 6” Insulated Cold Room Panels are commercial-grade, cam-latch modular panels engineered for applications that demand superior thermal performance. 6” panels are the standard specification for walk-in freezers targeting 0°F to -10°F, outdoor cold storage installations, and cooler applications in high-ambient environments where 4” panels are insufficient. If your project targets standard cooler temperatures (35°F–50°F) in an indoor environment, our 4” panels are the correct and more cost-effective specification. When in doubt: tell us your target temperature, application, and environment — we’ll specify correctly. Pricing is quoted by project based on your room dimensions, panel count, and configuration.
Best For
- Walk-in freezer construction — any application targeting below 32°F
- Outdoor cold storage installations in warm or high-ambient environments
- Southern U.S. and warm-climate cold room builds requiring enhanced thermal performance
- Large-format cold rooms where maximum insulation value matters
- New construction where a freezer zone is required within a larger facility
What's Included (per project quote)
- 6” insulated panels — walls and/or ceiling as specified per your room dimensions
- Cam-latch connectors and panel assembly hardware
- Panel layout guidance based on your room dimensions and configuration
What's Not Included / Handled Separately
- Floor panels (available — specify if needed when you submit your quote request)
- Insulated doors (available — freezer-grade doors differ from standard cooler doors; quote together for compatibility)

A Note on Panel Sourcing
Qube sources panels to meet your project's performance and budget requirements. Panel specifications are matched to your application — temperature target, ambient conditions, and use case. We do not expose supplier-specific sourcing in customer-facing quotes unless you ask.
FAQ
When should I use 6” panels instead of 4”?
Use 6” panels for any freezer application (below 32°F), outdoor installations, and environments with warm ambient conditions. For standard indoor coolers targeting 35°F–50°F, 4” panels are the correct specification. Tell us your target temperature and we’ll confirm the right choice.
Do freezer doors need to be quoted separately?
Yes — and we strongly recommend quoting panels and freezer-grade doors together. Freezer doors have different hardware, gaskets, and thermal requirements than standard cooler doors. Quoting together ensures full system compatibility.
Can I quote walls and ceiling separately from the floor?
Yes. Specify what you need — walls only, ceiling only, walls and ceiling, or a full enclosure including floor panels — when you submit your dimensions.
Do you sell panels by the piece?
No. We quote by the project. Provide your room dimensions, application, and temperature target — we’ll calculate the panel count and configuration and build your quote.
Is installation included?
No. Panels are sold as a supply package. We can provide installation guidance and contractor referrals on request.
Is freight included?
No. Freight is quoted separately based on your delivery location, panel count, and site conditions.
What happens after I submit my dimensions?
We review your project, confirm the panel specification, and come back with an itemized quote — typically within 1–2 business days. No commitment required to receive a quote.
Ready to Get Started?
Submit your room dimensions, application, and target temperature using the button above. We’ll review your project and come back with a specific, itemized panel quote — not a ballpark. Most panel quotes are completed within 1–2 business days.
